I sold 4 condos within the last 3 weeks. But that’s not really the point of this blog. In fact, this blog really has multiple uses for me. But making friends in Naples is really the whole essence of why I spend several hours a month writing these blogs. Aside from that, I have three objectives:
- To promote my customers & clients interest in selling their properties, whether it be the $1,75 million Naples Square condo that sold in 3 weeks or the 2 prior to that in Napoli off Davis Blvd that I snagged at a discount for my buyers.
- To provide general observations on real estate and life.
- Ramblings. Rambling and general observations kind of go hand in hand for me. This explains the reasoning for cleaning up my blog logo to just note Naples Real Estate and General Observations. I find that I can advocate for a better future (complain) under the guise of observations. Though my wife doesn’t buy that twist.
Selling those four condos was a blast. I earned myself more 5-star reviews, more time in my house, several more dinners and tanks of gas and I also made some great friends. So great that my buyers have hired me to sell their condo on Gulf Shore Dr! Now that is a compliment if I have ever heard of one. When people react to your service by hiring you again, it makes you want to perform even better. I confess that years ago, I envied my wife. As a Naples hair stylist her clients are walking billboards for her. Women have no problem complimenting other women on their hair. When they do so to my wife’s customers, her number is given out.
“Delight your customers” Warren Buffett once said. I am a believer and can see this truth while making friends as a result of real estate transactions here in Naples, Florida.
What delights your customer will not always delight the next customer, but there are age timeless fundamentals that never go out of style. Luke 6:31 is one of many that I always come back to to continue making friends in Naples.
“And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise”
Not only is this a win/win rule of life, the wisdom from the Lord highlights the necessity of forgiveness.
