A Park Shore Story

 

The truest desire of all mankind is to hear even the faintest whisper of inspiration. Nature has long been a source for those who seek peace and clarity in their lives and to experience this phenomenon. While tangible items can flicker our hearts into believing some version of our identity, it is true, inexplicable inspiration that feeds our yearning souls. You might have caught my cameo in the beautiful video of my latest Naples real estate offering located in the LaMer building in highly coveted Park Shore. The authenticity of that shot is not in the fact that I did not realize my videographer was capturing me, but rather in the moment I was experiencing. In attempting to stay out his way, I found myself sitting alone in one of the screened in lanai’s of this 9th floor condo looking out at the endless turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Framed by children playing while new love was being launched and photographed on the shore below, I found myself lost in the coming sunset we were there to catch.

Entering 902 feels like inhaling accomplishment. My eyes were instantly drawn to the blue/green Gulf waters and the sun’s reflection through the floor to ceiling windows of the living room and northern lanai that I almost miss the massive welcoming foyer. Stepping forward you may be drawn straight into the large living room to sneak a peek from the top of the world, but may instead choose to turn left to visit either your laundry room to drop off that salty bathing suit or to your master’s quarters to rinse off in the dual showerhead en suite shower before heading to the attached reading room/3rd bedroom for a few minutes of meditation. Remember, you can catch a Gulf view from anywhere in this home, enjoy it.

 

Two lanai’s, a 6-person dining table and flowing kitchen provide ample space and options for catching up with guests & family. Guest room is split from the other two rooms and is located on the north side of the condo with its dedicated full bathroom. Stainless appliances, 2022 installed AC are added comforts to a well-made decision to reward yourself with the prize property. Better yet, following the completion of the phase I Milestone inspection for LaMer, the engineer did not observe any substantial structural deterioration that would pose a threat to the public health, safety, or welfare that could decrease the structural integrity of the structure. All together, this 3 bed, 3 full bath unit is delivered at 2717sf under air with two screened in lanais and dedicated parking for $3,400,000, or $1,251/sf.

The Location

 

So much to report here. I’ll try to tame any unnecessary longwindedness. If you have been to Naples, you will understand the charm of Park Shore. Beaches downtown, especially near the pier, can get very busy. The same up on Vanderbilt Beach near the Ritz and La Playa. This area of Park Shore feels more like a sleeper as the public access points are at least a half mile down either direction of LaMer. It’s common place to see people on walks near the marinas up & down Gulf Shore Blvd N or cyclists enjoying the warm south Florida air. While these activities are but a few moments away from you at all times, LaMer sits away from the Blvd, tucked away between the palms and the sand. It’s almost like a resort, though I didn’t see anyone serving drinks.

 

However, if you want to grab a drink or experience fine dining at one of the several wonderfully reviewed restaurants at the Village Shops at Venetian Village, you are just a few minutes walk away. Pick up a new outfit or some shoes at one of the many upscale shops as well and say hello to the, essentially domesticated, duck; Pickles outside of the Village Pub. And if your heart desires additional options, world-renowned 5th Ave is a few minutes drive away down US 41, or take the back streets into Old Naples. So much is happening right now in Naples. I have several clients who have lived in Naples a very long time who all believe that we are experiencing the Second Renaissance. A modern facelift all over town has Naples riding the wave of national attention as “The Best Place to Live & Retire in the US”. I believe it, do you?

The Lifestyle
